
‘Hacktivist’ group Orange Task Force issues video, was offered money by Russian organization
February 23, 2013The hacktivist group Orange Task Force, which has claimed responsibility for a DDoS cyber attack on an Israeli banking subsidiary of New York, has released a statement in which it says a Russian organization offered it money for information it has. The Orange Task Force stressed that it is not operating for money and instead is seeking “freedom of information, transparency and democratic principles.” There was no information about which Russian organization had offered the hacktivist group money or whether the offer was for destructive computer code. The video ends with a call to released Enoch Moses Kaplin and to end censorship of some YouTube videos in Israel.
